A word from our founder ...
Embarking on the journey of owning a startup born in January 2007 has been akin to venturing to the moon for me. Little did I know the complexities that awaited, but there’s no turning back now!
Beginning with a “bar napkin” sketch of a mobile soundproof room in 2006, each step has been a leap into the unknown. Without a clear blueprint to follow (after all, soundproofing is typically an indoor endeavor, not a trailer-based one), we had to blaze our own trail. It often feels like throwing darts in the dark, waiting to see how many find their mark once the lights are on. A thrilling challenge indeed!

And the suspense doesn’t end there. The final verdict can only be rendered after the unit has proven itself on-location and passed the rigorous “Mix Stage” test – a trial where the recording is seamlessly integrated into the show within the Mix studio. Needless to say, we’ve triumphed in every test, as evidenced by our esteemed Hollywood clientele list.
Following our debut at NAB in 2007, we were delighted to welcome Mr. Tony Schmitz as the Sales and Marketing Director of Voice Over There, Inc. (the parent company of Mobile Studio USA). Our journey kicked off with Smart Post Sound, our first client, who brought USA Network’s Starter Wife and the talented Ms. Debra Messing to our trailer. Since then, we’ve successfully completed over 700 ADR sessions spanning more than 30 network shows and commercials.
Dedicated to our mission of community engagement, we introduced Voiceover Kids in 2009. This innovative school program involves our mobile studio visiting campuses to teach students about the intricacies of voiceovers and voice acting. The reception to this initiative has been truly heartening, with both educational institutions and parents expressing their enthusiasm. This endeavor plays a significant role in fostering the empowerment of young minds, instilling greater self-esteem through the mastery of proper speech.
